BLM wins Miracle-Gro media account

BLM has won the £6m media planning and buying account for Scotts Miracle-Gro, beating incumbent BJK&E and another unnamed agency in a three-way pitch.

The garden fertiliser company, which spends the majority of its marketing budget on TV, is preparing to launch a new product into the market, called Miracle-Gro Liquafeed. BLM will plan and buy media in time for the product’s pre-Easter advertising push.
Sarah Greenaway, Miracle-Gro Company UK’s marketing director, was responsible for BLM’s appointment. The agency’s managing director for trading and futures, Pedro Avery, and business director, Phil Harper, led the pitch.
