The Barceló Blackpool Imperial Hotel has seen a 30% rise in enquiries from people wanting to hold their corporate events to coincide with their team’s away day.
"Since the news that Blackpool FC qualified for their first ever Premiership season emerged, Blackpool as a whole has seen a significant rise in business for meetings and hospitality events," said hotel general manager Alison Gilmore.
"We are in a prime location – just over a mile away from the stadium and close to the train station."
In response the hotel has put together a special corporate hospitality package including arrival drinks and a pre or post match meal with wine from £45 per person.
Blackpool FC play their first Premiership match on 14 August.
