Bishop takes up global marketing post at FindWhat.com

LONDON - Search advertising and partnership marketing specialist FindWhat.com has appointed its senior vice-president Sebastian Bishop as chief marketing officer with responsibility for a new global marketing programme across all the company's four divisions.

Chairman and CEO Craig Pisaris-Henderson said: "The role of chief marketing officer is new for FindWhat.com. At the beginning of 2004, we offered one product in one country. Today we are a global company, offering multiple products and services across three continents."

The group's four divisions are FindWhat.com Network/Private Label, Espotting Network, Primary Traffic (Comet Systems) and Merchant Services (Miva Solutions).

Bishop said: "FindWhat.com is taking a new direction by investing sizeable resources to support a global marketing programme. For the first time, prospects and customers will realise the benefits of our worldwide combined assets."

Bishop joined FindWhat.com after the company he co-founded, Espotting, merged with FindWhat in June 2003. He and his co-founder James Burrows left Rainey Kelley Campbell Roalfe/Y&R in 2000 to set up the company.
