Bingo Association launches promotion to support new game
The promotion, through integrated agency Spinnaker, rolls out in over 500 bingo halls including Mecca and Gala Bingo chains. The rollover jackpot game makes use of new freedoms offered under the Gambling Act 2005, which came into force at the beginning of the month.

As part of the promotion, customers can win £50 by texting in a photo of themselves with promotional punch bags and boxing gloves displayed in participating bingo halls. The photos will be put online and a winner will be chosen every day for the six weeks of the promotion.

Point of sale material includes table talkers, posters and giant ‘dabber’ pen freestanding units. Email and SMS updates will be sent to customers who register online to receive information.

The campaign also comprises advertising, branding and PR activity to promote the new game which is set to offer the biggest prize ever in licensed bingo.

Other agencies involved include The Workroom, Big Al’s Creative Emporium, DSA PR and BLM Media.
