Bigmouthmedia in dating site deal

LONDON - Mysinglefriend.com, the dating site created by TV presenter Sarah Beeny, is poised for its first concerted marketing drive, after hiring search and digital agency Bigmouthmedia.

The dating site, founded in October 2005 by Beeny, who presents Channel 4 show Property Ladder, has employed the agency to handle its search engine optimisation in a bid to rise up the natural search rankings on the main search engines Google, Yahoo!, MSN and Ask.

Bigmouthmedia's brief includes increasing the number of male subscribers, particularly in London and the South East, through search engine optimisation.

Until now, Mysinglefriend.com has relied largely on word of mouth and viral marketing, and handles paid seach marketing campaigns in-house.

Bigmouthmedia has a client list that includes British Airways, Barclays, MTV, Tesco, Castrol and Debenhams.

The digital marketing agency had success in the adult market towards the end of 2007, landing adult retailer Coco de Mer's online advertising account.
