It includes a new site (www.mrpaparazzi.com), created by agency iConcertina Creative, which enables users to upload and submit pictures online.
The site centres around Mr Paparazzi, the online alter-ego of Big Pictures founder Darryn Lyon. He takes on the role of an agent, claiming to be able to negotiate a better deal for users than they would get by approaching a publication directly.
Users need to register on the web site in order to upload their pictures of celebrities. There is also an option to send them by mobile and sign up for daily text alerts on the location of celebrities. Users can text their own tips and gossip, which can earn them money.
The web site also offers tips on how to get the best shot and a blog covering the latest celebrity gossip. News will also be added.
Big Picture plans to develop the site further over the next few months by adding more content and interactive features, such as downloadable wallpaper, screensavers and ringtones.
Lyon is currently starring in BBC 3 series Paparazzi. The launch of Mrpaparazzi.com will be promoted through search marketing on Google AdWords and the TV show.
