BHO donates ads in bid to save London's oldest toy museum

Banks Hoggins O'Shea/FCB is coming to the aid of one of London's oldest toy museums, which faces the threat of closure.

Pollock's, situated just a few hundred yards away from BHO's West End offices, has only a few weeks left to raise £500,000 to buy the lease of the building it has occupied for the past 30 years. If it fails it will be forced to close.

Now the agency has stepped in to produce advertising encouraging major companies that manufacture children's products to donate the cash to secure the museum's future.

The campaign was the idea of the BHO copywriter Bryn Attewell and the art director Mark Robinson, who walk past the museum every day on their way to work.

With the help of the photographer Jason Simpson, who donated his services free, the team has produced a series of posters appealing for donations on the museum's behalf.
