Baecker, who Berliner Pilsner cites as embodying the spirit of east Berlin, performed at Herman Ze German in London’s Soho. He arrived dressed in a silver catsuit and performed a show featuring laser effects and power dance moves.

Following yesterday’s 1980s party, Baecker will travel to The Four Quarters in Peckham on Friday (21 August) and The Haggerston on Kingsland Road on Saturday (22 August).

The Peckham show will take place in the venue’s ‘Haus of Berlin’, where a range of other artists will join the German headline.

Berliner Pilsner aims to bring the 'vibrancy, grit and creativity' of Berlin to Londoners with its launch campaign.
