An ice-inspired bar will be set up at Bentalls department store in Bracknell, Berkshire, on Saturday (14 December) to get shoppers in the festive mood.
After being served a refreshing ice tea, shoppers will be encouraged to hunt out polar bears placed around the store, as part of a prize draw to win a Bering watch and ring combination.
Bering ambassadors will share brand stories with customers during the one-day event, which is the first time an initiative of this kind has been launched in the UK.
The watch brand has already tested out similar events elsewhere in the world including at Marina Bay Sands and Wisma Atria in Singapore in June and July, and at Suria KLCC in Malaysia in August.
Those events – part of Bering's Frozen in Time campaign – included gourmet ice lollies and ice sculptures designed to showcase the latest Bering products, which have been inspired by the Arctic's icy landscape.
Steve Todd, Bering's area sales manager, will work closely with the Bentalls team, including Bentalls Bracknell buyer Victoria Carn, to deliver the event, which could then be extended to other stores in future.
