Below the Belt just wouldn't be the same without a further
installment from direct marketing's death-defying daredevil, 23red's
creative director Sean Kinmont. For avid followers of the exploits of
our Everest-climbing, wannabe-matador, here's part three in the
saga.
Kinmont was taking time out from his ever-so-slightly hectic schedule,
having a well-earned rest in a bar in Cape Town, when he got talking to
a girl, who turned out to be a dive master - as they do. There was a
suggestion of a rendez-vous the next day for a dive to explore the
beautiful underwater life of South Africa.
But wait, all was not as it seemed. The lady in question turned out to
be the dive master at the local aquarium's predator tank, home sweet
home to half a dozen razor-toothed sharks.
Not one to shirk a challenge, the fearless Kinmont rose to the bait and
proved once again that he's the biggest and bravest fish in the choppy
waters of direct marketing.
The more discerning among you will have noticed that Below the Belt
jibed Kinmont back in October that perhaps he might like to try swimming
with sharks after his bull-fighting exploits. He rose to our challenge
once, so let's try it again.
How about a spot of tight-rope walking over the Grand Canyon? If not,
we'll settle for a striptease at 23red's christmas party ... cameras at
