The Belgian National Lottery follows its 2015 stop-motion animation Christmas campaign with a sequel once again directed by Blinkink's Parabella, who were behind Channel 4's The Great British Bake Off trailer earlier this year.

The ad tells the story of a hopeful snowman in search of a Christmas miracle, keeping the design and characters such as the playful woodland animals but also introducing some new ones such as the family seen through the window. It was created by Kwint de Meyer and Willem De Wachter at Belgian agency Mortierbrigade. The lead animators were Andy Biddle and Dan Gill, and the score is by Belgian artist Spencer the Rover. It will run on Belgian television and cinemas.
