The "Proud parents" campaign stars some of the industry’s most respected marketers and their agency partners, together with icons from the standout work they have created together. The campaign underlines the brand’s positioning as the premium platform for the new breed of brand-builder, offering inspiration, opinion and analysis for marketers, agencies and media owners that invest in creative excellence to grow their businesses.
Parents featured in the work include Craig Inglis, customer director at John Lewis, and Ben Priest, executive creative director at a&eDDB, with Monty the penguin from one of their most successful Christmas campaigns; Dan Brooke, chief marketing and communications officer at Channel 4, and Chris Bovill and John Allison, joint heads of 4Creative, with the redesigned Channel 4 logo; Simon Daglish, ITV's managing director, commercial, and Jenny Biggam, founder of the7stars, who worked together on a bold integrated campaign for Suzuki; and Nina Bibby, marketing and consumer director at O2, and Darren Bailes, executive creative director at VCCP, with the cat from the "Be more dog" activity.
"Proud parents" comprises a series of photographs and a making-of film that brings to life the trust, respect, shared values and even affection that underpin the best collaborations. The campaign was shot by Mitch Jenkins at Making Pictures, with retouching by Stanley's Post, design by King Henry and stills photography for the cat by Julia Fullerton-Batten at Wyatt Clarke & Jones. Post-production for a&eDDB/John Lewis is by MPC and for VCCP/O2 by Finish.
