Beefeater to stage comedy gig

Chivas Brothers brand Beefeater Gin is aiming to banish the blues in January with a free stand-up comedy gig hosted by producer Just the Tonic.

Beefeater Blues will see sessions from the UK’s best breakthrough acts served up alongside gin cocktails made by Beefeater’s expert mixologists.

Known for discovering the next big names in comedy, Just the Tonic took Sarah Millican, Jason Manford and Jon Richardson to the Edinburgh Fringe before they were famous, and has worked with superstar comedians Johnny Vegas, Lee Nelson, Reginald D Hunter, Ross Noble and Seann Walsh in the last few months alone.

The event is taking place on 28 January at Beefeater's distillery in south London.
