Sara Lee’s drive to improve the image of Brylcreem users as being
young and sporty shifts into a higher gear next week with a satellite TV
campaign featuring Manchester United star and World Cup bete noire David
Beckham.
The six-week campaign, put together by WCRS, kicks off next week on Sky
Sports and four other cable and satellite channels.
The official line is that the campaign was due to begin three weeks into
the season. However, according to one source, it was delayed to assess
how fans would react to Beckham.
