Beattie McGuinness Bungay wins Confused.com account

LONDON - Beattie McGuinness Bungay has scooped the £25 million Confused.com ad account after a four-way pitch.

The agency won the business following a shootout against Iris, following a pitch that originally included Krow and McCann Erickson.

The pitch was handled by Agency Assessments International.
 
BMB will work on new creative for Confused.com, which has struggled to differentiate itself in a crowded market of price comparison websites.
 
Farm was the first retained agency to work with the price comparison website following its appointment last year.

Its latest ads, which aired this month, featured friends and family members showcasing the site’s features and its ease of use.
 
Earlier this year, Confused.com appointed PHD to its £38 million media planning and buying account.
 
This year VCCP's successful work for Comparethemarket, which features Aleksandr the Meerkat, has led to a number of reviews in the sector.

They include Moneysupermarket.com, which has previously featured ‘Dragons’ Den’ entrepreneur Peter Jones as its first celebrity spokesman.
