The headphones brand Beats by Dre has released a TV spot featuring the Barcelona footballer Cesc Fabregas. R/GA created the spot, in which Fabregas uses his headphones to drown out the noise of abusive Real Madrid fans as he makes his way to a match. The work, which was created by Rodrigo Sobral and Omar Johnson, with production support from R/GA LA, and directed by Max Malcom, was released on the same day that Barcelona beat Real Madrid 4-3 in La Liga. It reportedly upset Barcelona management, who asked that it not air.
