BBH wins award for top creative agency of 2001

Bartle Bogle Hegarty has been named Creative Agency of the Year in

Marketing's Agency 2001.

The inaugural award, which recognises creativity, effectiveness, new

business wins and financial health, reflects BBH's sterling performance

throughout 2001.

In a year that began with the agency winning the £52.6m Microsoft

Xbox launch task, it also walked off with the £15m Barclays

account without a pitch, and finished the year by scooping the ITV

account.

The agency hit new heights this year with strong creative work for

brands including Levi's, Johnnie Walker and Lynx.

Agency 2001 recognised excellence in each marketing discipline. For

media, the winner is MediaCom; for below-the-line, Joshua; for new

media, Zentropy Partners; for PR, Cohn & Wolfe; for design, Landor; for

telemarketing, MM Group; for customer publishing, Haymarket; for market

research, Taylor Nelson Sofres, and for field marketing, RPM.
