Bartle Bogle Hegarty London is making redundancies among its permanent staff.

The agency has put employees into consultation and expects to make about 10% of permanent staff redundant. BBH has 472 employees, according to its most recent ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 school report.

Neil Munn, global chief executive of BBH, said: "We operate in a fast-changing world in which all good businesses are constantly reshaping. Just as our clients are restructuring their cost base, so must we in response to ensure we have the right structure in place for the current landscape."

Two of BBH’s accounts went up for review this year: Virgin Media and Barclays. The agency did not repitch for Virgin Media, but it retained the £30m Barclays business, extending its 17-year relationship with the bank.

BBH also won Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Audi’s digital account.
