Directed by Chris Palmer, the ad, ‘turn around’, aims to be as hard-hitting as its predecessor ‘break the cycle’ and focuses on the positive by showing how the charity can work to turn lives around.
Nick Gill, the executive creative director at BBH, said: "A sequence of shots tells the story of a young girl's journey into despair - the positive intervention of Barnardo’s triggers a reverse sequence of exactly the same shots, before a title concludes; 'Every year we help thousands of children turn their lives around'."
The ad uses the Bat for Lashes song "Moon and Moon" as its soundtrack.
Diana Tickell, Barnardo’s UK director of communications said: "Barnardo’s is an acknowledged leader in work around sexual exploitation which is why this area was chosen as the focus of the TV advertising for our 'Turn Around' campaign."
Barnado's is supporting the campaign with a featuring the female actress from the spot.
