The trails, created in-house by BBC Broadcast, focus on the skill that is involved in playing rugby union, featuring one body part or rugby skill for each player. The promos also feature Irish captain Brian O'Driscoll and Wales captain Colin Charvis.
The spots follow audience research commissioned by the BBC into what attracted the new fan base to rugby following the World Cup. The results showed people were impressed with the range of skills that rugby encompasses, including passing, sidestepping, tackling and, of course, kicking.
The trails show a scenario of what could happen if an amateur player could buy a body part or skill of one of the Six Nations players. Each trail features a cameo of the player or his team mate.
A different trail for each nation will run in all nations over the course of the five-week tournament.
Andy Bryant, director of creative services at BBC Broadcast, said: "BBC Broadcast had a great time working with these players and were lucky to have access to them. These trails promote all the home nation teams in Six Nations and will let viewers know they can see them all live on the BBC."
The tournament beings this Saturday and all games will be exclusive to the BBC.
The BBC also recently sealed the terrestrial broadcasting rights for the Rugby League Tetley Super League for the first time this month.
