'Allstar Variety' is still in production and few details of the show have yet emerged.
The BBC is hoping the show will take on the might of ITV's 'Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway'. Norton has a huge fan base in the UK after the success of 'So Graham Norton' and 'V Graham Norton', his chatshows on Channel 4.
'Allstar Variety' will be the third project for Norton with the BBC since he was poached from Channel 4 in a two-and-a-half year deal worth £3.5m.
Norton is due to front his first programme for the BBC this winter by paying a seasonal visit to Austria for 'The Sound of Music''s 40th anniversary in 'Celebrate the Sound of Music'.
His second show, called 'Strictly Dance Fever', is due to air in spring and follows on from the huge success of 'Strictly Come Dancing'. This new show will track 10 couples from embarrassing dance auditions through to their final glitzy performance.
The couples will be trained by professionals to competition standard before they dance to a different discipline every week. The public will vote for who stays on the dance floor.
A BBC spokesman said: " We are developing a number of projects with Graham Norton, although 'Strictly Dance Fever' is the only one that has been scheduled."
Norton, who owns his own production company, So TV, is planning another Saturday night TV show for the BBC called 'The Bigger Picture', although details of the show have yet to be disclosed.
