
The BBC’s top 107 decision-makers earn a total of £22 million a year, withThompson receiving a salary of £664,000.
Mark Byford, his deputy, receives £471,000, while Jana Bennett, the director of BBC Vision, earns £412,000.
Around ten of the broadcaster’s top earners were not included on the list because they do not sit on the BBC’s boards.
In total, Thompson claimed £3,364 in expenses between April and June this year.
Tim Davie, the director of audio and music at the BBC, who earns £325,000, claimed £790.63 for cabs between 12 May and 19 June.
The shadow culture secretary, Jeremy Hunt, called on Thompson to also reveal pay for entertainers such as Jonathan Ross.
