BBC Radio Online has revamped its portal to include streamed content from Radios 1 to 5 and the World Service, as well as a few lines of content aimed at directing users, via a link, to the relevant radio site.

The relaunched portal will include additional content from each channel with embedded links and special events on each BBC national and local station. Users can also listen to live radio.

'This is a more flexible way of doing things, and it means that promotional spots and seasonal events can be covered. We felt that we could do more to promote the service,' said Huw Williams, head of new media development at BBC Radio.
