BBC presenters get themselves 'mile ready' in Sport Relief ad

LONDON - BBC presenters are starring in a series of new TV ads to promote the forthcoming Sport Relief Mile challenge.

Created by Red Bee Media, the first spot shows BBC Breakfast news presenters Bill Turnbull and Sian Williams in the studio doing a series of stretches to prepare for the run.

During their stretching routine a young girl enters the studio and gives them both stickers, which proclaim the news readers are "mile ready".

The spot is aimed to reassure people that everyone can take part in the event as very little training is required.

Further ads that will be rolled-out in the run up to the event will feature celebrities including Claudia Winkleman, Steve Jones, and presenters from 'The One Show' and 'Match of the Day'.

The Sport Relief Mile Challenge will take place on 21 March and will raise money for Comic Relief.
