BBC One promotes summer schedule

The swashbuckling story of a woman fleeing a burning house is the subject of BBC One's brand campaign to promote its summer schedule. A TV trail breaks this week, followed by a national poster campaign and radio trails on BBC radio. The 90-second TV trailer, entitled 'Cliffhanger', shows the heroine narrowly avoiding being trampled by stampeding horsemen, only to be knocked off a cliff, where she hangs on with only one hand. As she tries to pull herself up, we see a man and woman sitting on a log watching her. The man reaches forward as if to help her, but instead picks up a biscuit, and we realise that he is a BBC One viewer sipping his tea.
