BBC nominated twice for Satellite Channel of the Year

LONDON – Sky News, Living TV, BBC Three, BBC Four, ITV2 and Sky One have been shortlisted for the satellite category in the Channel of the Year Award at this year's Media Guardian Festival in Edinburgh.

The awards, sponsored by BBC Broadcast, were launched last year with BBC Two taking Best Terrestrial, MTV Best Non-Terrestrial and Best New Channel going to UK History.

The ceremony will be hosted by comedian Bob Mortimer at the festival on Saturday August 28.

Judges include 'I'm a Celebrity...' star Rhona Cameron, Heat's Boyd Hilton and comedian Catherine Tate as well as Guardian reporter Janine Gibson and 'The Bill' actress Josie D'Arby.
