The BBC said that 3G users on either side of the Tasman Sea would be able to access more than 250 catchphrase clips from the likes of 'Little Britain', 'The League of Gentlemen', 'Goodness Gracious Me', and 'Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.'

According to the BBC, it is the first time content from the shows has been licensed for mobile download outside the UK, and the first time any BBC content has been available to mobile phone users in New Zealand.

Clips set to feature include David Brent's infamous charity dance from 'The Office', Andy, the supposedly wheelchair-bound character from 'Little Britain' jumping off a high diving board, and 'Goodness Gracious Me' international superhero Bhangraman.

Keith O'Brien, head of content for Vodafone, said: "Mobile TV is one of the most popular services on Vodafone Live!, and we expect the new BBC programmes to be a hit with our customers."

The clips are set to last between 30 seconds and three minutes, with 2G mobile phone users able to buy ringtones, stills and clips up to two minutes in length.
