BBC Broadcast hires account director for design team

LONDON - BBC Broadcast has brought Jill Lindeman on board to head up business development within its design team.

Lindeman joins BBC Broadcast Design from broadcast and interactive design agency amassmedia, where as a founder and managing director she worked with clients including Sony Pictures Entertainment and Channel 4.

Amassmedia was created by the former Future TV team at Razorfish, which Lindeman joined from the acquisition of Lee Hunt Associates NY, where she founded the broadcast design division.

BBC Broadcast director of creative services Andy Bryant said: "We are very excited that Jill has joined our team. She beings a unique point of view and a wealth of experience, which fits perfectly into our strategy for moving BBC Broadcast forward into the commercial marketplace."

BBC Broadcast Design, the three-year-old independent commercial arm of the corporation, delivers channel branding, broadcast and interactive design and programme packaging to public service and commercial television and radio channels. BBC Broadcast is part of BBC Venture Group, the commercial media services business.
