BBC "Bringing us closer" by BBC Creative

BBC News presenters come together to reassure the UK public that the world will some day return to normality.

The ad features on-air BBC News presenters as they look forward to the end of the coronavirus pandemic, when they can announce that "there are no new cases", "the Nightingale is shutting down" and "plans will be made and kept".

Until then, BBC reassures viewers that they will be working to help people understand the current situation, following research from Havas Media Group which found that the BBC is the most-trusted news brand for coronavirus content.

This comes alongside a 40-second cut and customised edits for each UK country, as part of its morale-boosting campaign encouraging people to stay at home during the pandemic. It was created by Sarah Fox and Adam Reincke, and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace through Pulse Films.
