The BBC has launched a short film that will run across social media throughout the festive period.

Produced by BBC Creative, the spot features two families celebrating Christmas in unique ways to evoke the joy of sharing special moments with loved ones, with the BBC at the heart of their activities.

Promoting the broadcaster's new shows and specials, the film was directed by James Rouse and produced by Benji Howell through Outsider.
