Media sales were previously contracted out to The Publishing Consultancy, but will now be run as an internal division called HBP Media Sales.

The sales team from TPC will transfer to Bauer. The London sales team will be based in Bauer's Camden offices from tomorrow, but there will be no change to the location of the Manchester office.

HBP Media Sales will be responsible for selling ad space across the following titles: Take a Break, That's Life!, Bella, TVChoice, TVQuick, Total TVGuide, Spirit & Destiny, Fate & Fortune and Bauer's portfolio of puzzles magazines.

David Goodchild, Bauer's managing director, said: "We have worked closely with The Publishing Consultancy for more than 20 years in the UK and have enjoyed a very successful relationship. The move to bring advertising sales internally will provide a greater focus and closer tie to all our advertising clients."
