The company has promoted James Wilson, the head of commercial programming for Magic 105.4, to the new role of commercial programming director at Bauer Place, its network of local stations.
Bauer has also appointed Kate Fraser, the head of commercial programming at its Kiss station, to work alongside Wilson as the head of commercial programming at Bauer Place.
The appointments are part of Bauer's plans to build commercial programming teams to create campaigns for advertisers that increase audience engagement with brands.
Bauer created Place in April as a platform for its local stations that have 8.7 million listeners in 21 markets, and include the brands Metro in Newcastle and Hallam FM in Sheffield. It also created Bauer Passion, a portfolio that includes the Kiss network.
