The German media company has entered into a month-long consultation period after London staff affected by the review were informed this morning.
Paul Keenan, chief executive, said: "In such an unprecedented environment, we are seeking to reshape our business further and as a result have entered consultation with a number of staff across our London-based publishing and advertising business."
The company, which has 700 employees across its London publishing division, has, like its peers, looked to address the tough economic climate with a series of cost-cutting measures, including reducing its marketing spend and implementing a stringent recruitment policy.
In March, it closed its men's monthly magazine Arena, putting 12 jobs at risk, due to poor sales. The group has also cut jobs across its radio brands, Heat and Q.
