Bates Norway makes redundancies

- Bates is to slash the size of its Norwegian operation in a restructuring move designed to improve profitability.

The restructuring will result in 20 of its 200 people being made redundant by the end of the year.

Last year Bates Norway reported earnings of $1.2 million on revenues of £15.7 million.
