Barclaycard "get more out of today" by Bartle Bogle Hegarty

Barclaycard's new national campaign relies on a twee singalong tune to convey its message that using a credit card helps you get the most out of life.

Bartle Bogle Hegarty created the spot, in which a song about making the most of life (which gives rather a large nod to Eric Idle) is combined with vignettes including a father treating his children to meals and trying to get fit. The work, which first airs on TV on 16 May during an episode of Britain’s Got Talent, was written by Peter Reid, art directed by Rob Ellis and directed by Guy Shelmerdine through Smuggler. Post-production was by MPC.
