Barclaycard has dropped the 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston and is continuing its tradition of using British comedians to front its advertising, with a new campaign starring Jennifer Saunders. The campaign has a fresh strapline, "Barclaycalm", and is aimed at reinforcing the brand's positioning that it is "more than just a credit card" by highlighting the reassuring back-up services such as fraud prevention, purchase protection and emergency cash replacement.
