Barbour hires Paul Wilkinson to lead global marketing

Fashion brand Barbour has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Paul Wilkinson as head of marketing.

Wilkinson will head up the global marketing team with responsibility for branding, PR and digital marketing, as Barbour seeks to develop its "lifestyle brand" credentials.

He joins from his previous position as managing director at surf fashion company Protest Boardwear. Prior to this, Wilkinson occupied the role of marketing director at O’Neill.

Barbour has also hired Ryan Llewellyn-Pace to lead its UK and Ireland sales team.

Steve Buck, managing director at Barbour, said: "I am delighted to welcome Paul and Ryan into the business.  Both have a wealth of experience and knowledge in marketing and sales, and they will significantly contribute to Barbour’s continuing growth and development as a lifestyle brand."
