Bang & Olufsen to activate at Clerkenwell Design Week

Electronics brand Bang & Olufsen is working with brand experience agency Inkling to create a set installation at Clerkenwell Design Week in London, which runs from 23-25 May.

The activation will help to launch BeoSound Shape: Off the wall music – Bang & Olufsen's revolutionary new speaker system. It will also engage people with the multi-room concept in order to focus on its simplicity of use, as well as introduce and re-introduce the Bang & Olufsen brand to potential clients in the field of architecture and interior design.

The set will host key products that encapsulate the brand's tone of voice, which is sophisticated, confident, straightforward and warm. The design will use quirky touches that will conceptually suggest everyday user scenarios for the products.

The installation aims to showcase the brand's sponsorship of the Icon House of Culture ensuring that the brand is firmly in attendees’ minds prior to the event.

The objectives will be measured on footfall, data capture and subsequent sales.

Inkling has worked with Bang & Olufsen from concept ideation, creation and delivery, which includes design, build, dress, IT and AV setup and support, staff and logistics.

Tom McKenna, project manager at Bang & Olufsen, said: "We are delighted to be exhibiting at Clerkenwell Design Week to showcase the new BeoSound Shape, a wall-mounted wireless speaker system for the design conscious music lover. This event provides us with the perfect opportunity to interact with architects and interior designers, offering a fantastic platform for our exciting new concept."
