Banc Leeds rebranded as Clark McKay & Walpole North

LONDON - Marketing services group Media Square has rebranded its Banc Leeds agency as Clark McKay & Walpole North.

Gail Duddleston, managing director of the new agency, was previously client development director at WWAV Rapp Collins Leeds. Banc Leeds managing director Neil Lockwood has left the agency.

The capability of the agency, which is focused on digital work, is to be broadened into direct mail and sales promotion. The creative direction of its 12-strong team will be led by Steve Walpole, Clark McKay & Walpole's executive creative director.

Jonathan Clark, chairman and co-founder of Clark McKay & Walpole, said: "Our plan is to build the Leeds operation into a force to be reckoned with in the North, in a very short time.

"Clark McKay & Walpole's presence in the North represents excellent opportunities for our employees and clients in London alike."

Clark McKay & Walpole joined Media Square in September 2004. Banc, which joined in 2003, retains its London base. Media Square chief executive Jeremy Middleton said: "There are no plans to change anything at Banc's London office at the moment."
