BBFB's spirit portfolio, which includes Dewar's Whisky, Bacardi Rum, Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, Martini Vermouth, Bombay Sapphire Gin and Patron Tequlia will be collaborating with bars in Edinburgh to celebrate Europe’s first Tales of the Cocktail On Tour. The 'Dynamic Duo' events are taking place between 1-5 April.

Each bar will showcase a series of bespoke cocktails made from one of the partner spirits and will be available to sample exclusively during the festival. These one-off tasting menus have been curated by some of the world’s most renowned cocktail experts, including international bartender of the year, Jack McGarry, Elliot Ball and Olly Brading from the Cocktail Trading Company and the creative director at The Gibson Bar in London, Marian Beke.

Shervene Shahbazkhani, UK head of advocacy at BBFB, said: "With a successful six-year legacy, Tales of the Cocktail on Tour is undoubtedly one of the most influential cocktail festivals in the world, so we’re thrilled to be involved in its first European venture – and what better place than Edinburgh. It is such a great city, with incredible culture and unbeatable talent."

She added that the event is a real opportunity for the BBFB portfolio to be at the forefront of industry trends that are shaping the world of spirits, whilst also bringing together and supporting local bars and trade professionals.

The Jack Daniel's event on 2 April, paired with Lucky Liquor, will be themed around upcycling and the art of bar sustainability; on the same date, Bombay Sapphire and Bramble will host an evening of classic hip hop and cocktails. Dewar's Whisky will pair with Bon Vivant on 3 April while Bacardi and Panda and Sons will host a 'Lords of the Playlist'-themed event, also on 3 April. On the same day, Martini Vermouth will team with Bon Vivant to host the Connoisseur's Cocktail Club, while Patron and Voyage of Buck will present an evening of ickling and preservation Scandi-style in Scotland.
