Babybel reveals tiny factory of workers in real cheese push

LONDON - Babybel has opened the doors to its miniature factory of tiny workers in a new TV ad, based on the theme that Mini Babybel is made in the same way as real cheese except it is smaller.

The 30 second , created by RKCR/Y&R, is aimed at conveying that is a real cheese and a healthy snacking option for both children and adults, through the brand's familiar playful image.

The spot opens on a shot of the green countryside, and then reveals a tiny factory where miniature men and women are hard at work creating the cheese.

The head cheese maker explains that the workers enjoy making Mini Babybels but that it can be challenging at times.

The ad then shows one of the workers clambering up a giant stile as part of his journey to work and another struggling to move the 'giant' Mini Babybels around the factory.

A further scene shows two workers about to milk what appears to them to be a giant cow, before deciding that they are "going to need a bigger bucket".

The ad ends with one of the finished cheeses being rolled out into the fields where it is picked up by a regular-sized family enjoying a picnic. The spot ends with the line "Real cheese, only smaller".
