The Court of Appeal yesterday ruled that the airline was not in breach of contract by cutting staff numbers on long-haul flights.
BA announced it would be reducing the number of crew on long-haul flights in November last year, as part of a drive to reduce costs by £140m.
The case was brought by Bassa, the British Airlines Stewards and Stewardesses Association, which is affiliated with union Unite.
Since the announcement, BA cabin crew have taken strike action, causing a total of 22 days disruption to BA schedules.
A spokesman for BA said: "We are pleased with [the] Court of Appeal judgment, confirming that the modest changes we made to onboard crew numbers on flights from Heathrow 12 months ago were reasonable, did not breach crew contracts and can remain in place.
"The changes have made a substantial contribution toward easing the company's financial position, and our crew have accepted these working arrangements without difficulty."
The airline has reported a significant increase in passenger numbers, carrying 187,000 more people this October compared with the same period last year.
BA has also experienced a 3.9% rise in traffic for the month of October, and a 4.6% lift in passengers in its first class and business class cabins.
BA last week showed a return to the black for the first time in two years, reaching a first-half pre-tax profit of £158 million.
