The 3D artwork, which has been created by renowned artists 3D Joe & Max, is being displayed on a wall outside the new store, and will be available to view until 13 March. Guests are invited to engage and interact with the 3D illusion.

Ex-Arsenal player Martin Keown is opening the store with an official ribbon cutting ceremony, where he will be joined by Graton Primary School’s choir who will be staging a performing as the store opens.

On 11 March, the store will host a day of family fun, including balloon modelling, face painting and prize giveaways. Parents are invited to take part in fun activities, but can also use the day to look around the new store and talk to B&Q experts for advice.

Andy Williams, unit manager at B&Q Holloway Road, said: "We’re absolutely delighted to be bringing B&Q to Holloway Road’s high street. Our launch week is set to be great fun and we can’t wait to have Martin Keown officially open the store and to unveil the amazing 3D street art that Joe & Max have created especially for us. The events are a great chance for us to welcome the local community in to the store and share our team’s expertise and ideas."
