B&Q abandons store-focused ads

B&Q is abandoning its store-focused ads for its latest TV campaign.

The new format, for its Tate and New England paint ranges, uses the

image of New England's landscapes and coastline and a Turner masterpiece

in the Tate, with the strapline, 'Colours from life for your life'. The

£2m campaign, by Bates UK, will break on September 12.
