- Cosmetics company Avon is consolidating its estimated $65 million (£40 million) US advertising account out of one McManus Group agency and into another, as DMB&B takes over the account from NW Ayer & Partners.
Avon said that DMB&B's network better suited its needs. NW Ayer & Partners has only four offices compared to its sister agency's 131.
Ayer has worked on the US account since 1994, but DMB&B won Avon internationally last August. The move means Ayer will lose around $30 million in business and its Avon account team, which will swap one New York office for another.
