Auto Trader launches search tool in new ad

Auto Trader, the online site for new and used cars, is launching a TV ad for people looking for a new start.

The brand has also introduced a new way to search on its site with a monthly price checker.

Earlier this year Auto Trader shifted its media planning in-house from Vizeum, and creative to Mynt from Isobar. The Specialist Works handles media buying.

Two months later Rakesh Patel, advertising director at Auto Trader, moved to Spotify UK as head of sales.

The new work breaks on Christmas Day and shows a variety of people beginning a new chapter in their life, from having a baby to graduation.

It has been created by Andrew Patterson, Bill Warren and Scott Dillion at Mynt, and directed by Paul Butterworth through Omni Productions.
