Audi TV goes fox hunting in latest ad campaign

LONDON - A TV set is brought to life and chases an urban fox through the streets in a new TV ad created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty for Audi TV, the car-manufacturer's broadband channel.

The "fox" spot opens on a night-time cityscape and the streets are empty apart from a fox, which slinks up the side of a wall.

The fox then scurries across a street to an electronics store with a window display of TV sets.

As the fox gets closer, one of the TVs switches itself on to show footage of an Audi approaching in the dark.

The TV set is suddenly brought to life, due to the strength of the propelling Audi, and smashes through the shop window. The fox makes a run for it, but is pursued by the TV set, which chases it through the streets, leaving a trail of the words "Vorsprung durch television" streaming in the TV's wake.

The window-smashing scene was enhanced by adding extra glass shards and light flairs to intensify the drama.

The ad was directed by Arni Thor Jonsson and the creative team was Adrian Rossi and Alex Grieve. Absolute was the production company.
