The German car firm's micro-site will showcase its stable of seven TT coupes. It is also believed to be planning to launch the new Audi A6 online in June.
Mark Bowles, used car product manager at Audi, said: "The site was developed to generate leads, but the main reason was to celebrate the line-up of the TT range. We want to show it is the original coupe and the best."
The microsite (www.audi.co.uk/newcars/model.jsp?section=/models/tt) was created by digital agency Good Technology. Visitors can request a brochure, book a test-drive and find out about events to witness the performance of the car. The site has a 'tell a friend,' viral function in the 'downloads' area where video footage of the car can be forwarded. Wallpaper can also be downloaded online.
Audi puts the TT at the centre of the microsite's landing page. It aims to drive people to a car configuration centre on the Audi site. Banners and rich-media ads will be placed on motoring and lifestyle sites. Mediacom did the planning and buying.
