As the Glasgow 2014 Games Travel Office (GTO), ATP Event Experts will have dedicated teams embedded in the Games HQ and the Athletes Village supporting the Organising Committee in key areas of delivery.
With just 100 days to go before the start of the Games, ATP Event Experts says it has sold more than 6,500 tickets to individual events. It has also revealed the events receiving the most amount of interest so far include track and field disciplines.
Neil Pace, head of UK event operations at ATP Event Experts and senior project manager GTO, said: "In less than 100 days Scotland will welcome top athletes from around the world to compete in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
"Demand has grown steadily since the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) announced the Games were coming to Scotland and we are ready to manage the extensive accommodation and travel-related needs of the Games family."
ATP Event Experts has assigned a dedicated team of 20 professionals to Glasgow to manage a range of hotels, restaurants and event venues, and to plan and deliver the entire event operations. The team has also been busy with requests from clients keen to experience Glasgow and Scotland's hospitality and culture.
