Adidas will become become the exclusive sports clothing supplier to the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team at all age groups.
As part of the deal, the sports giant has developed a new range of clothing that dissipates heat away from the body and supports the muscular system to help athletes perform to the best of their abilities.
The sports giant recently supplied kit for Team GB at the 2004 Athens Olympics and has similar deals with 20 other Olympic committees.
David Moorcroft, chief executive of UK Athletics, said: "We are delighted that the golden moments Britain experienced in Athens wearing Adidas can now be extended to the major athletics championships that the Norwich Union GB team will compete at."
Robin Money, head of sports marketing at Adidas UK, said: "The UK Athletics deal further strengthens Adidas' position as one of the leading brands involved in athletics."
Energy drink Red Bull has also extended its partnership with UK Athletics for the next four years. As "performance partner" Red Bull will supply products for Norwich Union athletics meetings and all UK Athletics high-performance centres across the UK and help with research and team activity.
Previously, Red Bull sponsored individual athletes including the 4x100m champion Jason Gardner.
Max Jones, performance director of UK Athletics, said: "Over the next four years, we look forward to working in partnership with Red Bull.
"Its commitment to support product research and bespoke team activity will help to provide our athletes with the very best service to help ensure their continued success."
